Should be operated with direct current
Some manufacturers
use the "resistance-resistance and step-down" method to deliver power
to LED products to reduce the cost of products that will directly affect them
lives of LED products. (led bulbs, led downlight, led track light, led strip light)
Using a dedicated
switched power supply for the power LED products does not affect the life of the
product, but the product is relatively high.
Need to take antistatic measures
LED products must
adopt certain antistatic measures during production and processing, such as the
worktop should be grounded, workers should wear antistatic clothing, with
antistatic ring and belt, anti-static gloves, etc., can be installed with
anti-static ion air and also see to the humidity in the workshop is about 65%,
to prevent the air from being too dry to create static electricity. Especially
green LEDs are more susceptible to damage from static electricity.
Many static problems
are caused by people's lack of ESD (electrostatic discharges) awareness since
most ESD injuries occur outside of human emotions. Since the human body's
perceived voltage for electrostatic discharge is about 3KV, many electronic
components can be damaged at hundreds of volts or even tens of volts. Most
often the electronics are damaged by ESD after there is no clear limit,
components are mounted on PCB and then tested. As a result, many problems arise
and analysis is quite difficult.
LED temperature
It is important to note that an increase in temperature will
cause the internal resistance of the LED to be smaller. As the ambient
temperature rises, the internal resistance of the LED light source decreases.
If the power supply is stabilized, the LED will be caused.
Working current
rises, when it exceeds its nominal work as current, it will affect the life of
LED products, which will seriously cause "burn out" of the LED light
source. Therefore, it is better to use a constant power source. Power supply to
ensure that the operational current LED is not affected by the external
temperature.
